Hey, I’m Alvettle Jones - an entrepreneur, social media consultant, and 20-year-old college student from Virginia. I grew up in Hampton and Newport News in a two-parent Christian household, but life wasn’t easy. As my parents’ marriage fell apart and they worked constantly, I started looking for belonging in the wrong places. By 14, I was involved in gang activity and drugs, living that way until I was 17. Everything changed on April 9, 2023, when I found my mother after a suicide attempt. In a moment of desperation, I cried out to God, and that day became the turning point that completely transformed my life.

From that moment on, I chose a different path - getting clean, rebuilding my health, strengthening my faith, and helping my mom rebuild her life and launch her healthcare business after she wrote her book, You’re Not a Mistake. Through that journey, I realized that even the best product or service means nothing if no one knows about it. That realization led me into social media marketing, where - with the guidance of a mentor - I now help businesses grow their brands and share their message with the people who need it most. My story isn’t about where I started, but about the decision to rise and help others do the same.
